Rides & Events

Yes. It's all about the rides - whether it's a destination Chapter Ride planned by one of our awesome Road Captains, part of our 2024 Chapter Ride Series Theme, "Covered Bridges" (for 2023, it was "Lighthouses"), and other "Challenges", a weekday or weekend Pick-Up Ride or a group trip to a Rally or Motorcycle Event - we have something for everyone! We also do other fun group activities throughout the year including: Monthly Chapter Meetings; participating in the Annual Chili Cook-Off, HD Demo-Truck and Biker Breakfast events with the Dealer; Chapter-Sponsored Season Kick-off Breakfast and Ice Cream Rides; Bowling Nights, Axe Throwing, Ladies (aka Chrome Divas) Weekend Rides; Monthly Chapter Member Dinners, Chapter Road Trips & Overnights and participation in various biker challenges (including the "Iron Butt Challenge" and others), an Annual Chapter Holiday Party and sooo much more...

New RIDE 365 Details for 2024

H.O.G.'s RIDE 365 program encompasses a number of things - Annual Mileage Recognition, Dealership Check-in Challenge, the ongoing "50 Rides, One Nation" challenge, and "10 for '24". For Annual Mileage Recognition, our Danbury H.O.G. Chapter had its' BEST YEAR EVER for overall RIDE 365 miles ridden in 2023, we logged over 435,000 miles! Final Regional and National rankings will be announced soon, but we're way up there!

2024 Chapter Rides Series - "Covered Bridges"

The new Chapter Ride Series theme for 2024 has been announced... Our new Activities Officer came up with a great Chapter Ride Series theme for the new year - "Covered Bridges". The goal is to ride, on your own or with the Chapter, to at least SIX covered bridges - anywhere (but REAL covered bridges; not at a golf range, water park, dollhouse or miniatures show [wink] ) - and get a photo with your motorcycle. Submit proof of all six and earn a completion certificate and some sort of award at the end of the year. Submissions should be in by November 30th.
