(Fairly) Empty Streets of NYC Ride

Event date:
Sun, 06/13/2021 - 10:30am

NYC Ride

Join us for an NYC adventure, we'll cruise down to the West Side Highway (aka Henry Hudson Pkwy) along the Hudson River into lower Manhattan, around the Freedom Tower, up the FDR and East River then across town through Central Park and on to our lunch stop at Pastrami Queen on the Upper West Side.  After that, we'll jump back on the West Side Highway and across the GW Bridge and up along the Palisades (with a scenic / comfort stop and photo stop along the way) and 9W to the Mario Cuomo ("Tappan Zee" to us old-timers) Bridge and back across the impressive Hudson River towards home.

Don't let this ride scare you.  A group of us did a pre-ride, it's very manageable. Just the way you love hills and curves, the majesty of NYC on a bike will give you goosebumps.
