It's an Independence Day Weekend Lunch Ride...

We're soaking up some history and enjoying a scenic ride through the pitcuresque countryside of Litchfield County (approx 90 mins) to the G.W. Tavern (circa 1850) in Washington Depot, CT

Named after our first President in honor of his passage through this small town in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains, with the Shepaug River lazily passing by, G.W. Tavern is a favorite in the area offering a casual lunch menu including seasonal and local specialties.

The ride will continue on after lunch, for those who'd like, ending with an ice cream stop to cap off a perfect summer Sunday afternoon.
