Hearthstone Castle, Putnam & Dutchess County Ride

It's the perfect time to stop & see Danbury's own historic Hearthstone Castle - although a little creepy and crumbling now, this sixteen room, 3-story stone manor built in the late 1800's was quite an estate and built as the "honeymoon cottage" and summer lodging spot for famed Danbury portrait photographer, Elias Stone Sanford (known nationwide for capturing society's most elite) and his wife, Emma.  After a brief stop there, we'll take a scenic fall ride through Putnam and Dutchess Counties.

Following the ride, join us for a lunch stop back in Danbury at Rosy Tomorrow's.  Those wishing to continue afterwards can do some more riding in CT.
